Step 1 is all about finding your passion, your vision on what you would like to blog about.  A lot of people talk about finding a niche, but lets not call it a niche lets call it a passion and vision of your blog.

So how do you find your Passion?

The best way to find your passion is to as yourself the question “What is my Passsion?” and as you answer the question.  One of the best ways to do this is open a blank Word Document.  Title the top of the Word Document “What is my Passion?” then select numbering and start answering the question.  As you think of things type them down then move on then ask yourself again “What is my Passion?”.  While you are doing this do not judge yourself or the answers you give just what ever comes to mind type it and move on. 

So why am I telling you to do this?

Well as you start to create this list of answers to the question “What is my Passion?” you will see that the answers will start to develop into your true passion.  Now how do you know when you have your true passion?  Well when you start to type something that makes you cry I know it sounds sad, but that is when you know you have found your passion.

The reason I am asking you to find your passion is the blog you create has to be something you love and meaningful to you because remember you have to type posts in a blog.  In order to be able to enjoy yourself blogging you have to be able to enjoy what you are writing about.  That is what your passion will give you.  Your passion will give you endless material to write about and it will make it easy to write about.

Finding your true passion is not easy so if it takes you along time maybe hours or days to do this excersise in Step 2 of How2Blog thats ok.  Once you have your passion everything else will come easy so take your time finding it.
